I hope they dont cuck them with plastic guide rods and plastoc trigger guards. Mine has what looks to be a stainless guide rod and a caste aluminum trigger guard and considering many of the .22s today like riger is selling theyre plastics and composites and the quality trends down

I always bought the Crosman's until my brother turned me on the the Daisy 880 about 4 years ago. They were $38.00 at Walmart and came with a small scope so I grabbed a couple. The scope worked for a few weeks but suddenly went bad so I put a compact Tasco Bantam shotgun/muzzle loader scope on it. Unbelievable accuracy with standard Crosman pointed pellets. I don't even use my .22's for small game anymore. The thing I REALLY love about them is the variable power you can get with the multi-pump guns. If you want to take small game 10 pumps. If you just want to keep pests off the property without injuring them you can use flat point pellets and 1, 2 or 3 pumps ( depending on the size of the critter) and it doesn't do permanent damage but will get their attention and make them think twice about coming back. Great video!

So your running double the powder charge on this each time you shoot? You mentioned the 777 powder. I use the same cylinder powder charges, but i only use one charge. I wonder how much the difference in energy is?

Just bought this air rifle and I can hit the bullseye 🎯 at 25 yards with ease..and I'm using the same pellets you are..just put on a better scope a 3x9 40.

Whats that copper? Your backer? I picked up a cheap spinner. Its OK. Still searching for better. Im mostly salt and mostly heavier fish. I find difficult to retrieve with weight. As if line is wrapped or looped over bail. IMHO its faulty anti rev bearings... I have repeatedly read about oil in this bearing can cause this. It needs be clean and dry. Usually located under spool not in with gear case.
That copper is the spool. I can't run a backing with this light of a set up. It has a shallow spool. I love spinning stuff as well

That new Roostertail is really working well for you. Love them smallies! On another subject I just bought a Tikka T1X and I'm looking for a 4-16 or 6-24 scope for 400 beans or less with good turrets that tract well and a reticle that older eyes can see (not a very fine Christmas tree). Weight is no issue. I know you've used many in the past. What would you recommend? Thanks
Iv been a fan of roostertails for a long time now. Aaaaand I like tikkas as well. Check out ARGOS HMR 4-20×50 AHMC SFP MOA. That is an Atholon scope, their headquarters is in Kansas great people to work with. That is a great scope for the beans

Maybe you could even up your sponsorship from manufacturers so long as they know that if the product works it gets praised but if it fails......well then it fails
